Every year in the summer months, undesirable growth of underwater plants occurs in many bodies of water. This can impair water quality and cause problems for swimmers and other water sports enthusiasts. One example of this is the Bocholt reservoir “Aasee” in Germany. There, a mowing collection boat was once again deployed on behalf of the city to clear the bottom of the lake of underwater plants.
The challenge
