Amphibious weed harvester for land and water maintenance

Comfort and efficiency

Our BERKY TRITON 550 AMPHI amphibious mowing and collecting boat efficiently removes aquatic plants, waste, wood and other debris. It reaches shallow waters, swampy areas and even areas that are usually inaccessible to floating machines. An additional special feature: the machine can be driven into the water on its own without a crane, simply brought ashore for maintenance and parked there.

With the help of its additional chain drive, it can move independently from the low-loader into the water. Our amphibious weed harvesting boat cuts aquatic plants below the water surface, such as the Canadian waterweed (Elodea Canadensis), with its U-double blade cutter and transports them by conveyor belt into the 5.5 m³ cargo hold. This enables unloading within a few seconds, which significantly increases the efficiency of the work process.

With its air-conditioned cab with all-round visibility, the BERKY TRITON 550 Amphi offers maximum comfort. The spacious, fully glazed and soundproofed driver’s cab ensures a pleasant working environment, while the hydraulically lowerable operator’s platform increases user-friendliness.

Sustainable water management for hydropower plants and dams

Regular maintenance of hydropower plants and dams is essential to ensure their long-term efficiency and environmental compatibility. Blockages caused by wood, weeds, and waste jeopardize the flow of water and significantly impair energy production. BERKY Triton models provide a reliable solution by efficiently removing obstructions to ensure a constant flow of water.

The performance of BERKY boats has been particularly evident in projects such as in Uganda, where they cleared blockages caused by water hyacinths and garbage, thus preventing power cuts. The BERKY waste collection boats were also indispensable during the flood disaster in the Ahr valley: they removed debris and wood from drinking water sources and made a significant contribution to preventing pollution.

U-double blade cutter

The U-double blade cutter efficiently cuts aquatic plants and guides them directly to the collection area. With horizontal and vertical cuts, it ensures an even flow of material, clear channels and is also suitable for collecting smaller quantities of waste, proving its versatility.

Conveyor belt

The side conveyor belts enable the efficient collection of larger quantities of waste. They guide material to the central collection conveyor belt, extend the working width, and can be folded in to work flexibly in narrow areas or to avoid obstacles.
