EFFICIENT POND CLEANING WITH THE "NEREUS 150" MOWING BOAT
Our maneuverable “Nereus 150” type 6310 mowing boat has once again proven itself to be an invaluable tool. With its compact dimensions, low weight and shallow draught, it is the ideal solution for cleaning narrow waters.

The challenge
A large pond in Germany, heavily overgrown with plants and garbage, faced the challenge of being made usable again. The overgrowth was so dense that conventional cleaning methods seemed inefficient.
Fouling control made easy: Our Nereus 150 mowing boat in action
We decided to hire out our maneuverable “Nereus 150” mowing boat for a week. This boat is equipped with a powerful engine that delivers full power even at low speeds. We chose a T-cutter for mowing and a front collection rake for landing the mowed material.
The 7100 T-cutter proved to be particularly suitable for use in water and on banks. The double-blade mowing technology not only achieved a clean cut, but also ensured a low ground load. The horizontally and vertically operating blades enabled efficient removal of vegetation, even in areas close to the ground.
The front collection rake was the perfect tool for removing the cut plant material and other debris from the surface of the water. These could then be conveniently dumped on land.
FREED FROM OVERGROWTH
Thanks to the efficient use of the mowing boat, the pond was successfully cleaned. The overgrowth was removed and the pond is now in a usable condition. With the before and after pictures, we were able to document the changes and show the success of the cleaning operation.
